Leeds City Academy catering has set their sights high. The cornerstones to support our vision of providing the tastiest meals in Leeds are:
Fresh, locally sourced, high-quality produce
The highest quality, fresh produce. Healthy, nutritious and designed with young people at heart. We work closely with our key suppliers for fresh fruit, fresh vegetables and fresh meat to ensure that the produce on our menus is of the highest quality with complete traceability.

Seasonal and tempting menus
Designed around a 4-week cycle that is revised each term to ensure variety and to make the most of seasonal produce, grown locally. Look out for World Food Days that we will be introducing around the number of nationalities that we have in the school.
Competent and highly motivated catering staff
The on-site catering team is led by our Catering Manager, Andrew Broom who is passionate about fresh produce and providing food as fuel which will have students ready for leaning. Supported by a team of well trained and enthusiastic staff we listen to and engage with all customers. We understand the benefits of a well balanced nutritional diet and encourage students to try new dishes which look and taste great, are value for money and that customers really want to eat.
Catering for all
Special medical, religious or cultural … all diets can be catered for.
We also have a breakfast club that runs every day from 07.30 to 08.15 to provide a breakfast for those students that arrive early before school starts. We serve Bagels/cereals fruit juice and hot chocolate.
All our produce is GMI free, has no hydrogenated fats and no artificial colours.
