Eye-opening sport event at Leeds Beckett
Considering future choices through sport
On Tuesday 24th April, pupils from Year 7 and 8 at Leeds City Academy went on an educational visit to Leeds Beckett University for a sports themed event.
The trip was an opportunity for pupils to visit a high quality university and inspire them to think about further education in the future. For many of the students, it was the first they had attended a university and learn about what the campus had to offer.
Throughout the day the pupils played a variety of invasion games with other schools which were focused around working as a team and competition.
Mr Carrington said: “The event was highly successful and the group were really inspired. The pupils were a pleasure to take and represented Leeds City Academy perfectly.”
