Library Togetherness Project
Write on a hand to share thoughts on diversity
At Leeds City Academy, we are excited to enter our school in the Namaste Project’s competition, around the subject of cultural diversity and harmony within our student and wider community.
As a part of our entry we are decorating a space in the library with a large rainbow, made up of many different paper hands with handwritten messages on. Students and staff are encouraged to share their own thoughts/interpretation of harmony and diversity on the hands.
Ms Harness and Ms Goddard said: “A huge thank you to those of you who have completed one of the hands for our competition entry – it’s looking really great so far. Please feel free to pop into the library and pick up a paper hand before our deadline on Friday 20th April.”
