Promoting After School Activities

All this week, the Department for Health have been promoting extra curricular PE/sport during form time.

They have been presenting the new timetable and getting an idea of how many students in each year group participate in after school PE clubs per week.

The Department for Health's aim is to increase participation in after school PE to get more pupils active. The students will be monitoring this over the next term to see if numbers have increased due to their campaign during form.

Mr Carrington, staff member responsible for the Department for Health, commented "The students involved showed huge amounts of professionalism whilst presenting and had the confidence to question pupils during the campaign as to why they do or don't attend these clubs so they could discuss the feedback in greater detail in the next meeting."
