This year, 40 Leeds City Academy Business students from Year 9 and 10 took part in the Mosaic Enterprise Challenge 2017 Competition. In March the Academy received a letter from Mosaic:

"I am writing to congratulate Leeds City Academy on reaching the Yorkshire Regional Finals of the Enterprise Challenge 2017 competition. This has been one of our biggest Enterprise Challenge competitions ever, with over 4800 students participating nationwide. Your students should therefore be very proud of their achievement of making it this far. This is a huge achievement!"

The five highest scoring students represented the Academy at the Regional Finals that took part at the prestigious offices of KPMG in Leeds on 28th March. Our students had to pitch an ethical business enterprise project to a panel of judges.

Leeds City Academy were one of five schools attending the Regional Finals, comprised of 180 schools in Yorkshire.

Ms Rose said: "This is an amazing achievement and congratulations go to each and every student that took part."
