GCSE RESULTS DAY AT LEEDS CITY ACADEMY!

 Today we welcomed our Year 11 students to the academy to receive their GCSE results, following what has been a challenging and unprecedented exam path for our learners.

Mr Chattoe, Principal, said, '' We are absolutely delighted & very proud of our year 11 students who have worked with absolute commitment to secure the very best examination performance in the Academy’s history. Our students have experienced significant disruption to their education across the last 2-3 years but despite this have worked with high aspiration, unwavering determination & enormous resilience to secure these brilliant results.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank our wonderful staff body who have worked tirelessly everyday to support our students, to our brilliant students for their amazing efforts & to our parents & carers for their superb support & partnership.'' 

Congratulations to Hibaq (pictured above) for her impressive GCSE results, achieving 8s in Maths, English Literature and History as well as a Distinction in Business. She now plans to go to Leeds Maths College to study Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry.
